Clarissa Charles considers herself “yet another cradle-Catholic” who fell away from the Church during young adulthood. She experienced a powerful reversion in her faith life before graduating from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts in Medical Humanities. She attributes her newfound love of Christ to the intercession of the Blessed Mother, after joining the Legion of Mary and completing the 33-day Total Consecration in December of 2014. To this day, she is an active Legion of Mary member and strives to imitate Mary in her virtue and by always saying “yes” to doing God’s will. Clarissa devoted a year to intentional discernment, and felt God calling her to the vocation of married life, and also to the career of nursing. She is now engaged to be married, and is in the midst of surviving nursing school. Her hobbies include praying the Rosary, running/biking, and photography.
